The East Texas Writer’s Guild Presents:

ETWriMo

A Writing Marathon

For those of us who were planning to do a November writing challenge anyway or need a little kick in the pants to work on that project we’ve been meaning to finish for awhile.

ETWriMo is a month-long challenge running from November 1st to November 30th where you set a goal (40,000 words, 40 poems, or anything else writing related) and find people to sponsor your progress. At the end, money raised goes to the East Texas Writer’s Guild to help us fund a series of publishing workshops in the spring.

It’s a good way to hold yourself and your fellow writer accountable, or just add on a little extra to whatever November writing activity you already participate in. Check in with us daily on Facebook, at the regular meetings, or at the extra write-ins we’re planning for this month.
