Your Prompt
In October, I saw a barefoot girl with a brown paper sack under her arm walking along the highway.
Using the prompt above, write a story not to exceed 500 words. Submissions must have your name, the title, number of words, and must be double spaced. Email submissions to etwgmembers@hotmail.com with “contest” in the subject line. The written work will be judged and prizes given for first, second, and third place. Winners will be announced at the September meeting.
Deadline for submission is September 1, 2012.
