Shari Parker of Shari Parker Publishing and Printing located in New Boston, Texas and author of has offered to come and speak with the East Texas Writer’s Guild on February 11, 2013. She started her publishing company, Shari Parker Publishing and Printing, in 2007, printing cookbooks for local businesses, churches, and organizations. From there, her company grew to include a printing division. They took on all of the business printing for The Citizens Tribune in New Boston, Texas and other clients. In 2011, Shari Parker Publishing and Printing published the first novel for William Carl. Since that time they have added twenty writers into their publishing family.
She has experienced Publishing and Printing from the ground up, and offers herself as a speaker to inform and answer questions regarding independent publishing and marketing plans. She is actively seeking writers who are looking for a new publisher.
On February 12, she will set appointments for one on ones with any author who is interested.

She will meet with you, look at your work, and discuss ways to help you improve your manuscript and get through the publishing process such as: a good starting hook, a good pitch to catch the publisher’s attention, and a good storyline, as well as a great ending. She will also be glad to answer marketing/publishing questions during the private session.
